IT employees in Hyderabad have organized a car rally to Rajahmundry in a show of support for Chandrababu Naidu following his arrest in the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development case. Reports indicate that IT professionals have commenced their journey in a caravan of vehicles, departing from locations such as Gachibowli, SR Nagar, LB Nagar, and other parts of Hyderabad, with their destination set for Rajamahendravaram. Their objective is to meet Chandrababu’s wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, and convey their solidarity.
However, the Andhra Pradesh Police have made it clear that they have not granted permission for this car rally by the IT employees. Due to the enforcement of Section 144, the rally is not authorized within the jurisdiction of the NTR District Police Commissionerate and Vijayawada Police Commissionerate areas.
Commissioner of Vijayawada Police, Kanti Rana Tata, issued a warning statement, indicating that action would be taken against those who flouted the regulations. Checkpoints have been established in various locations, including Garikapadu on the Telangana-AP border, and a significant police presence has been deployed to rigorously inspect vehicles heading towards Vijayawada.
